Where silica sand ballasts and supports, specialty infills add a function. Most installs start with a silica sand base.
Zeolite (50 lb) and Zeodorizer (40 lb) are natural zeolite infills for pet areas. They trap and neutralize urine odor instead of masking it. Zeodorizer is 100% zeolite mined in Southern California, and it cools the surface as it releases the moisture it holds.
Camo Fill (50 lb) is a small, round sand made to blend into the grass. It keeps the blades standing, adds a little cushion underfoot, and has an antimicrobial coating that helps control odor.
Wonder Fill (50 lb) carries an antimicrobial coating that helps prevent bacteria, mold and mildew, and its rounded grains are easier on the blades. It is made for lawns, putting greens and playgrounds.
Chill Fill (50 lb) is a coating on sand that holds water in the granule and keeps the turf cooler. It needs water every day from irrigation, rain or dew, and suits playgrounds, sports fields and turf people touch in the hot months.
