Sage Max is the heavy-density premium of the Landscape catalog. Built on the same multi-fiber engineering as Dune Dark Blend, the Max series ups the face weight, deepens the pile, and tightens the gauge to produce the densest, most visually substantial turf SGS manufactures.
The 90 is our highest-volume Sage Max SKU and the default for luxury residential — 117oz total weight on a 2.05″ pile. The 60 is the entry into the line at a lower price tier.

The 90 is our highest-volume Sage Max SKU and the density pick — 2.05″ pile, 117oz total weight. Both share the same four-tone blade color palette.
Both are W&D multi-fiber landscape series with our highest-end blade engineering. Dune Dark Blend uses a five-tone fiber blend with prominent dead-fiber elements for natural curb appeal. Sage Max uses a four-tone blend optimized for density and weight — the heavier face weights (up to 117oz total) give it a fuller visual presence and a premium hand-feel that Dune doesn't reach.

Standard install: silica sand 30-grain, 1.5–2 lbs per sqft. The deeper pile on the 90 may take more infill to fully ballast — spec the volume against pile depth on the cut sheet. For pet-rated installs, swap to Zeolite or Camo Fill.
Custom face weights, color blends, or extended pile heights typically run 2–4 weeks from spec confirmation. Minimum custom run is 1,500 sqft. Contact your trade rep for pricing.
